The dress code for the 2013 Grammys was addressed in an email to attendees by CBS. The email stated "Be sure that buttocks and female breasts are adequately covered." "Thong type costumes are problematic." "Avoid sheer see-through clothing." -- CNN The request was obviously ignored
by some of the females. Hence my coverage of Mammaries at the Grammys!
And then again, some carried the cover-up a bit too far and some not far enough (yellow dress)
Why won't this line up? |

I don't make it a habit to watch the Grammys but I must say it is entertaining! I really don't know who these people are. When I say I don't know who they are, I mean psychologically, underneath the glitz and glamor. I know who they are. Believe it or not, I recognize their music. No, I'm not trying to be younger than I am...I have two daughters ages 21 & 24. But, after tonight these people go back to being just people like you and me.
Whether exposed or covered up the outfits at the Grammys makes no sense. What about Carrie Underwood's dress? Was it an electronic picture frame? Weird! Which styles would you wear? Personally, I liked Kelly Rowland's dress (with a little less mammary showing please). .

Hahaha! I laughed 'mammaries,' too funny. I missed the Grammy's, not that I watch it consistently anymore either, but it is fun to see the fashion! Found you on SITS! :)

DeleteI never watch any of the awards-type shows, but I like reading blog posts about them afterwards. Now I'm curious about Carrie Underwood's dress.
ReplyDeleteCarrie's dress was odd. It was her 3rd one of the evening! Thanks for stopping by. I became a follower of your blog today. :)
