5 Truths about Blood
My granddaughter Lisette was five months old on Easter! She is growing so fast. I might not believe it if I didn't see her with my own eyes. Her unbelievable growth reminds me of finding out Sydnee has O- blood. I thought, her entire 25 years of life, her blood was O+. The news was hard to believe. I asked her to have the doctor type her blood a second time just to make absolutely positively beyond a shadow of a doubt sure they were sure!
Have you ever considered how vital blood is to life? You know where I'm going with this, not just for physical life but spiritual life too. John 6:53-54 Then Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except ye eat the flesh of the Son of man, and drink his blood, ye have no life in you. Whoso eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, hath eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.
I was afraid for Sydnee to take the Rh factor shot but I worried more about mixing blood types. Everything worked out but I sure gave blood a good going over in my mind. I want to share with you some ah-ha truths, 5 truths about blood:
- Blood cannot be made.
- Blood has to be given freely (donated) from one person to another.
- Jesus must have O- because he's a universal donor.
- Jesus never has a blood shortage.
- Jesus never has "low" blood. His blood will never lose its power.
I want to hear from you. Please share your interesting truth about blood in a comment.

Mom-ism Monday #3
Mom-ism Monday #3 is really a grandmother-ism. My maternal grandmother passed away before I was born. My Mom doesn't talk about her a lot. One thing she said though has become a favorite saying at our house.
My Mom tells the story with a girlish grin on her face. She had five sisters. Their mom would want the girls to

Isn't every Friday Good?
Isn't Every Friday Good?
Are you looking forward to a day off
tomorrow? Some people celebrate the holiday without remembering the real
meaning of Good Friday. Although the phrase "Good Friday" does not
appear in the Bible, Christians continue to celebrate the day set aside
by the Roman Catholic Church in the 4th Century A.D to commemorate the
crucifixion and death of Jesus Christ. Good Friday is also known as Holy
Friday in the Romance Languages. It is interesting to know it is only
called "Good" in the English Language. It is eye-opening to learn the
history behind the origin of Easter. Read about its pagan or ungodly
origin at christiananswers.net.
If you have received Jesus and accepted his free pardon of sin, you know the Friday before Resurrection Sunday is good because Christ gave his all for you, for us. Romans 5:8 "But God commandeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." John 15:13 "Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends."
Is Friday your favorite day of the week? Probably! Romans 14:5 says "One man esteemeth one day above another: another esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own mind." I'm persuaded knowing Jesus as my Savior and realizing he was born and resurrected because he loves me, every day is Christmas and every Friday is "Good Friday"!
